Green Day is a group of punk rock music genre that originated from California, United States and consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong (lead singer, guitarist), Mike Dirnt (base, supporting singer), and Tre Cool (drummer, singer supporters). Green Day has been recognized in the music world because of their success in restoring and making punk rock genre popular again, along with the band of the 1990s such as The Offspring and Rancid.
Their music has influenced many wing punk bands, such as Blink 182 and Good Charlotte.
